Daniel Gallagher, a DMA student in Flute Performance, contacted me in October about a collaboration. He dreamed of a dancer performing an eerie solo to the first piece of Charles Nectaire’s 96 short solo flute pieces, Les Chants de Nectaire (1944). My interest in spidery movement fit the bill, and I’ll be performing the solo on Saturday, December 2nd at 12pm in Wiegel Auditorium.
